United Valley Bank

October 25, 2023Lowry Engineering completed the civil design for United Valley Bank’s new location in Mahnomen, MN. The new building includes two drive up lanes, asphalt parking lot, patio area, dumpster pad, and stormwater pond. Water service to the building and stormwater inlets/pipes in the parking lot were some of the new utilities that were installed. The sanitary sewer is treated by an onsite septic system, designed by others.

Lowry Engineering worked closely with MnDOT on access requirements which included adding a turn lane onto US Hwy 59 for vehicles entering the site.

Originally the site of an old hotel, this project is one of three new commercial lots that have been re-developed.

Construction began in the summer of 2020 and was completed in the fall of 2021.

Lowry Engineering teamed up with ICON Architects to make this project a success.
