Railway Addition Feasibility Study - Gwinner, ND

Lowry Engineering completed a feasibility study for adding an additional railroad side track at Bobcat in Gwinner, ND. Lowry Engineering investigated railroad design guidelines, local rule and regulations, turning radii, railroad pickup/drop off schedule for the cars, and material demand for the plant. A cost/benefit analysis was also presented. The project was put on hold for now due to the high cost of construction however it may be looked at again in the future.
