Principal Civil Engineer

Andrew Thill is a Professional Civil Engineer with 14 years postgraduate industry experience, specializing in residential, industrial, and commercial development as well as municipal and transportation engineering projects. Thill’s background as a design and construction engineer provide for a strong foundation to design and oversee construction on projects involving roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, storm sewer and storm water conveyance, sanitary sewer and treatment, water main, underground and above ground detention ponds, lift stations, and ADA acceptable routes. In addition, Thill has experience working with various government agencies to assist clients in the platting and permitting process for projects as well as with FEMA for work relating to flooding and flood plain requirements. Thill is registered in the state of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Prior to graduating from NDSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Thill spent his summers through high school and college working on survey crews for an engineering firm in Apple Valley, MN, followed by engineering internships in Apple Valley, MN and West Fargo, ND. Thill currently lives in Fargo with his wife, Alex and son Luca. Outside of work, Thill has always been an outdoorsman, enjoying all things hunting and fishing, especially training, testing (NAVHDA), and hunting with his two German Wirehaired Pointers.
