Prairie Flats Development - Wahpeton, ND

Prairie Flats Addition is a 25-lot development on the southwest side of Wahpeton, ND. Lot sizes range from 1 – 2 acres. Lowry Engineering completed the survey, platting, civil design, and construction inspection on the project. The development is a combination of a traditional urban and rural design featuring sanitary sewer, water main, and a 25’ wide asphalt roadway with 2’ deep ditches. Drain tile was installed beneath the ditches and is discharged into the adjacent outlet ditch via a storm lift station pump. Concrete sidewalk was also installed along the south side of the road. Comstock Construction, a local contractor, was the prime contractor on the project along with various subcontractors. Construction began in 2021 and was completed with all lots being sold in the summer of 2022.
