Dollar Generals - Multiple Locations

Lowry Engineering has worked with a development and architecture team to assist in the construction of dozens of Dollar Generals in communities around North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. In addition to coordinating with local gas, electric, and cable providers in the area, Lowry Engineering communicates with local city engineers and public works entities to meet city standards when connecting the proposed Dollar Generals to existing city-owned utilities. Coordination with state agencies, such as the NDDOT and department of health, is another important task Lowry Engineering takes on for each proposed Dollar General site. Lowry Engineering also creates an erosion control and sedimentation control plan for each site to ensure the surrounding area is not negatively affected by sediment from the Dollar General site during and after construction. For many Dollar General sites, Lowry Engineering will design stormwater detention facilities to ensure stormwater runoff release rates from the site do not over indicate downstream stormwater inlets, pipes, or ponds.
